Raising Sexually Healthy Children Workshops

Sexual health is most easily taught and understood when children are very young and scaffolded throughout their development. Start the talks before they can walk!

These informal, introductory workshops are led by social worker, and local mom, Jennifer Wiessner, LCSW, AASECT certified Sex Therapist for parents, providers and educators. Open up conversations among yourselves, your partners, and your children on healthy sexuality. These workshops will be done monthly so check back throughout the year to see upcoming dates.

These 2 .5 hour workshops help you raise your comfort level with talking with your children about their amazing bodies and developing sexuality. We'll discuss developmental stages birth-14 years, strategies, and how to handle the tough stuff, with time for Q&A after. You’ll bring home printed resources and all you need to get yourself and your child comfortable with their sexual selves. SPOTS WILL FILL UP QUICKLY!

Bring a friend or a group, questions, and a sense of humor. To register for either or both workshops, email or call Jennifer Wiessner at 207-400-7808, jw@jenniferwiessnerhealthysexuality.com

***PLEASE NOTE: workshops are on a second story requiring a flight of stairs.

Limit 12 attendees for in-office workshops. WORKSHOPS USUALLY FILL UP 6 WEEKS BEFORE DATE OF WORKSHOP.

Have Jennifer come to you and your “village”

Private “village” style Raising Sexually Healthy Children workshops for parents, educators and providers at your home or location. Want to have your own group of 12 or more at your home/location or in my office?  Email me for cost and particulars. They are a super fun way to learn the information...with your friends/colleagues; your village. Think of your preschool, your scout parents, your church community, as couples etc. It’s a great way to get your kids and kids friends on the same page regarding bodies, boundaries, safe touch, and healthy sexuality information.
